--> Nokia Lumia 1520 appears at the FCC, possibly headed to AT&T !

Not long ago, the Nokia Lumia 1520 for Verizon was spotted at the FCC, and now, we have come across what looks like a couple of variants of that
same smartphone, but tailored for use on another carrier. They are listed under the model names RM-938 and RM-940. What's the difference between these Nokia Lumia 1520 variants, you ask? Well, according to the FCC filing, the latter comes with built-in wireless charging capabilities, while the former needs a separate case in order to charge wirelessly, hence the metal pins on its back. Furthermore, the LTE frequencies supported by these Nokia Lumia 1520 models include bands 4 and 17, making them potential candidates for the AT&T network.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to be announced on October 22, becoming the largest Windows Phone smartphone in the company's portfolio. Rumor has it that a 6-inch 1080p screen has been chosen for this device, placing it right into the phablet category. On top of that, it could be the most powerful member of the species, with a Snapdragon 800 SoC beating under its hood.

Of course, the evidence found at the FCC doesn't guarantee that the Nokia Lumia 1520 is indeed coming to AT&T, but it surely increases the chances of that happening in time for the holiday season.
