The Nokia Lumia 2520 boasts a glorious 10.1-inch touchscreen as well as a beautifully crafted polycarbonate body that you’ll – of course – want to keep looking shiny and new for as long as possible. Thankfully, the Nokia Power Keyboard is an ideal companion and gives your new tablet all-around protection.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 sits comfortably into the frame of the Nokia Power Keyboard as one half reaches around the side to lie flat and protect the screen. The cover then extends over the other side of the tablet and is secured to the back of the cover.
Ramaswamy Iyer, Product Marketing Manager for Connected Devices at Nokia, describes the luxurious look and feel of this new cover.
“When you look at it all wrapped up, you almost think you’re looking at a beautiful journal.”
“However, there’s more to the Nokia Power Keyboard that just the outside. There’s lots going on inside once you open it up,” Ram continues.
When opened, you discover a keyboard with hard keys that can be laid flat on a table and also your lap.
“Positioning the Nokia Lumia 2520 is really simple. There’s a keyboard dock on the 2520 that automatically connects when in the Nokia Power Keyboard. Tilt the Lumia 2520 back at an angle and the stand snaps into place – almost magically.” describes Ram.
To ensure that you don’t need any additional equipment, the Power Keyboard also comes with a built-in touchpad that sits at the bottom of the keyboard. The embossed Nokia logo is a nice touch, too.
As the name of the cover suggests, there’s also a power element to it. When connected to your Lumia 2520, it will boost your battery life by up-to 50 per-cent.
That means you’ve got ample time to watch a few movies, Facebook and also work on that PowerPoint and Emails without worrying about locating a power socket.
Want more USB ports? You’re in luck! The Nokia Power Keyboard gives you two more to play with in addition to the one on your Lumia 2520.
There’s a choice of two colours, black and red. These will be available at the same time of the Nokia Lumia 2520 and will have an RRP of USD $149.99.
